When I first started this drama, I wasn’t expecting for an awesome story. The plot did seem interesting, but we got quite a typical type of story. The ratings were not very high and I did not know any of the actors. However, the ratings climbed really high AND I realised that the lead male actor was really cute, I was much more interested. Furthermore, there are links with English subs on Youtube, which makes my life much easier.

Lee So Young is a 34 years old women who gets into a company pretending she’s 25, using her sister’s identity. The actress is actually 30 years old, but she does look really young. I could describe this girl as a person who has no luck at all. Her life seems to be very unjust, so unfair that I cannot even complain about my own life. The way her mother treats her, how her co-workers treat her, how random people treat her. She is really leading a hard life.

One of the cause of her misfortune is her meeting with Choi Jin Wook. He’s a worker in the same company as her. Even though they hated each other for a while, they befriended really fast. He’s our lead male character, so we except love between those two. However, at first, he loves a girl from his university, Yoon Seo, who also starts working at their company as a team leader.

Yoon Seo seemed to be  the girlfriend of the president, but he treats her more as a little sister. She is a very talented, but she despises So Young a lot. Because of this hate, and her (evil) mother’s influence, she will lose against So Young is very shameful conditions. She is also the first person in the company who discovers that ‘Lee So Jin’ is actually ‘Lee So Young’. I do consider her as a smart and pretty person even with her wrongful actions. The opinion on her mother is the complete opposite though.

Finally, the president is a serious person, but not arrogant. He already has a mischievous daughter who does not like her father’s girlfriend at all. I would say that he looks  like an older version of Kyuhyun from Super Junior, but maybe it’s just me. Also, he is such a nice man that I almost wanted So Young to be with him. His daughter was also an important character. She seemed weird at first, but I kinda love her… a lot for being mean to Yoon Seo. I cannot describe her as mature, but she sometimes have very adult-like thoughts.

Even though the ending is very predictable, the events that happen in between are quite surprising. Even though the image of the drama seems childish and funny, I would say that it is a very serious drama. The issues that this drama discussed are very realistic. I have seen bakery, restaurant, hotel, prosecutor office, and many others, but never a designer office. This gives a freshness to the drama. I would also say that the plot is very simple, but rich. Everything is straightforward and chronological. Something starts, develops and ends.

The first part of the story consist mainly about the meeting of our protagonists, their relationship’s changes and Lee So Young entering the company through lies. The middle part relates more on So Young’s struggle in the company, befriending the president and his daughter, her trying to get back the trust of her co-workers, and a step further in the relationship between her and Jin Wook. The first part is much more complicated. The family is more important, as we meet both So Young and Jin Wook’s fathers. There is much more competition between So Young and Yoon Seo as designers. I feel that the story resembles My Lucky Star, because of bribing, cheating, stealing and hate between competitors.

This drama’s rating was much higher than expected and the number of episodes had been extended of 2 episodes. I feel that the director used these two extra episodes very well. As all problems were solved slowly, we had the whole final episode to close peacefully the drama. Every character had the ending we expect and it is a happy one for each of them.

The OST is not composed of magnificent tracks, but I have a few favorites. I love Jeong Dan’s song and Jang Na Ra’s May Snowman. The outro by Page is also very significant.
