This 2 night special takes off during their graduation, where Chiaki-senpai & Nodame left for Europe. The first special centered on Chiaki’s story, the story tells about Chiaki’s dream to be a conductor. Nodame on the other hand attended the conservatory to attain her dream to one-day play the piano for Chiaki. After her hard work, Nodame was given a chance to have a mini recital. During the recital, Chiaki saw her worth and realized that he cannot go on with out her.
81% This drama is the original version of Beethoven Virus and both are very interesting. Chiaki is a real genius in music. He’s talented in piano, violin and conducting an orchestra. He’s very strict about the exactness to the score. He’s a very clean and cold person. Actually, he’s the total opposite of Nodame who loves freestyle music, who hates cleaning and who expresses her feelings very openly.
I feel that the romance between the protagonist is very fake and I didn’t like it. However, the passion for music is well transmitted to the audience. Even for the people who don’t like classical music will be able to enjoy it in this drama. I loved how professional the musicians were. I am impressed by their talent. I find incomprehensible how Nodame sounds wonderful and Chiaki says that it sucks.
All the actors were great! The rocker violinist is a touching guy. The contrabass girl is really kawaii. The timpanist is hilarious. Of course, there is the crazy old dirty maestro who scared everyone. On the special episodes, I loved the two redheaded friends.
I really appreciated this drama. It’s short and really interesting. The music is only classical ones. And all I can say that I didn’t like is the unrealistic events in the drama.
