To escape debt, Lee Su Ho’s father escaped to a remote island where his friend has a young daughter Eun Young, who is the same age as Su Ho. After being abandoned by his father, Su Ho sought to leave, but his mind changed after being touched by Eun Young’s pure heart. A series of unfortunate events ensue, and Su Ho disappears, while Eun Young is sick in the hospital.
Years later, while traveling in Austria, Eun Young meets the talented pianist Jae Ha, a man with a cold exterior with a few words, who bores a resemblance to Su Ho. As their love start to develop, the truth unfolds… Can their love endure the harsh spring tragedy many years ago?
The beginning was really interesting. It just captivated my attention and I knew that I was going to love it. However, Spring Waltz is the fourth and the last story of a series called Endless Love. These four stories aren’t linked, but they have the same kind of story. Childhood love and separation and… new love… So what I didn’t like is that they took almost 3 complete episodes to tell the children’s story. It’s really cute and we get to know them better, but seriously, it was too long. Also, at the beginning, it was a little confusing because of many little details, like why do they met if they weren’t the children who loved each other?
Han Hyo Joo looks so young and innocent! I love her natural smile and I think she looks better than in Shining Inheritance. And Seo Do Young has this weird charm that amazed me. And I love how he has a slight smile even though he isn’t smiling….. He has a smiling face… xD
As for the supporting cast: Daniel Henney is a American-Korean actor. It’s really fantastic that for once, they took someone who could REALLY speak English. His smile is just as described in the drama, catching all girls’ eye! Lee So Yeon is the one who pisses us off… once in a while
The story isn’t the most interesting story ever. The development is very slow but it’s refreshing and it’s a nice “light” love-story…. and I’m… horrified by the OST, which I didn’t like it at all… except the opening by Loveholic (One Love). Yeah… so… the thing is that… the story seems to be longer and longer… the end just don’t seem to come. That’s why I didn’t like it that much…
