Top agents Kim Hyunjun and Jin Sawoo are blood brothers who swore to trust each other and unchanging friendship for life. Hyunjun had lost his parents in a car accident when he was young. He doesn’t have much memory of them from the shock of their death. Not only that, he always carries a sense of void and loneliness in his heart. But his friend Sawoo had filled that void. They stand out and get noticed by the National Security System (NSS) and become the top agents. They meet agent Choi Seunghee there and both fall in love for her and date in secret from the other NSS agents and eventually go on a secret trip to Japan. When they return to Korea, they are immediately sent on a mission to Hungary with Sawoo. When they successfully finish off their job with immaculate teamwork and are celebrating it, he boss sent him to a solo mission. Then, his life have changed completely.

Essbee’s Opinion:

83% Lee Byung Hun is a great, fantastic actor. Who would not like him? To be able to act this kind of character, he needs a special kind of charisma, and he got it. I think he’s so courageous, not because of the fights, but the filming had to be soo long and tiring! And there was a part which really hurt my heart, when he got shot by the North Korean police officer, and he had to take out the bullet from his body. There was the beautiful Kim Tae Hee who is also really good! Even though I found the romance she had with the Kim Hyun Joon not very convincing. Her character was “important” but she wasn’t as interesting as Kim So Yeon’s character which was even better. Her character was really though, and we don’t often see this kind of girl!

Then, the character of Kim Sa Woo (cast by Jung Joon Ho) was upsetting. Is he a good guy or a bad one? We are always wondering about it until the end, where the scene was soo sad… Actually, all the actors were great. Usually, they all is, but I guess that for this kind of drama, it needs a… even-more. As for the NSS workers, I like them all… except Baek San… of course. Seriously, the laboratory guy is sooo funny! I love him and his top expressions!

T.O.P is hot! XD However, people were deceived since he had only few minutes appearance on every episode. As a serial killer, I think he was really into his character. I always have seen TOP as a nice tall guy, but sometimes… I doubt it… LOL. [SPOILER]Also, when he was killed, it was quite deceiving since he didn’t even try to defend himself. [SPOILER]

Seriously, the drama was so thrilling! A sequel has already been announced and, sadly, the hero, Lee Byung Hun won’t be playing in it. Well, maybe that was the cause of the “”!%@/?&@ END there was… Also, we could guess that there would be a sequel since we still don’t know who “Mr. Black” is. Ecen though this drama is more a suspenseful one, there were funny parts in it. I loved the part were Kim Hyun Joon went in the bus plenty of Americans and “gently” ask them to get out of the bus… I wonder how they were filming this drama with gun and killings when they were at such crowded placed.

Then, the music was really fantastic. First of all, the instrumentals gave the magic effect in the drama. Also, the most FANTASTIC songs in the drama, in my opinion, is “Don’t Forget” and “Dream”. Also, there was a cooler song: “Hallelujah”. That song was pretty random, but I like it.

A mix of everything! And… there is this spin-off series called Athena, Goddess of War.
